MYSELF

          My name is Zachary Taylor Wilson, born on Sept. 1st, 1995 and was raised in Moreno Valley, Ca. I'm an American Rapper and Songwriter, going to school working to become an Audio Engineer. I have became serious about making my own music when my junior year was coming to an end at Canyon Springs High School when writing songs in my notebook wasn't getting me anywhere or heard by anyone.

          During the summer into my senior year, I got over my fear of what people were going to say or think so I video tapped myself rapping lyrics in spoken word, acapella, called it "Taylor's Acapella Flow". Made a couple of videos and posted them on Facebook with a voice in my head telling me “stop while you are ahead”. A lot of people responded on the videos more than what was expected. The comments were either ‘good job’ or ‘when you start rapping?’ It was a good feeling but this feeling wasn’t going to get the best of me. So now that I have put myself out there, I had to make a name for myself.

           Over some thinking, I have come to the conclusion of choosing my middle name, Taylor, for my stage name. Even though my name is common, it doesn’t mean I am as well. During senior year, I have come across others rappers in my school who, at the time, were promoting their own music. That allowed me to put my name into affect to tell others that I’m custom made. Started to build a fan based and created a facebook page and named it ‘Taylor’s Zone’, which gave them the opportunity to be literally in my area of my music. Trials and tribulations came in my way but with the grace of God and the support of my #TeamTaylor, I was able to finish my mixtape “Feelings + Patience = L.O.V.E.” and over 700 downloads in 4 months on the single "What You Know". Even though you may think that’s not enough but that’s over 700 blessings I count every day.
